Who we are

Mega Outlet Chester is an independent discount outlet retailer based on 2a Sealand Road, Chester, Cheshire, United Kingdom. This website sells the same stock held in our shop.

Payments and card data

Checkout and payment are handled by Shopify's hosted checkout. Your card details are entered on Shopify's secure payment pages and are never seen or stored by this website.

What data we collect

• Order details — the name, delivery address, email and phone number you provide at checkout, used to process and deliver your order.
• Your basket — stored in your browser so your items are still there when you return.
• Messages you send us — anything you send via our contact page or social accounts, used only to answer you.

We do not sell your personal data. Order data is processed by Shopify as our commerce platform, and by the delivery carrier fulfilling your order.

Cookies and local storage

This site uses browser storage to remember your basket and to complete checkout. Shopify may set cookies as part of the checkout and fraud-prevention process. You can clear these at any time through your browser settings, though your basket will be emptied.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it (for example, for tax records on a completed order). To make a request, contact us.

Terms of sale

• Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Delivery costs are shown at checkout.
• Stock is limited and often end-of-line. An order is accepted once we confirm it; if an item turns out to be unavailable we will refund it in full.
• We aim for every listing to be accurate. If an obvious pricing or description error occurs we will contact you before dispatch rather than fulfil at the wrong price.
• Your cancellation and return rights are set out on our delivery & returns page. Nothing here affects your statutory rights.
